Ongoing Projects
Affluence.org – Private Social Networking & Collaboration
A private social network enables individuals to connect and share
information with each other. Resulting the members to have access to
high quality content and subject matter experts in various fields. The www.affluence.org site is powered with SocialEngine a PHP-based white label social
network platform. Envisioned the solution
with minimum customization of the baseline product, validate and
implement plug-ins and create new functionality not available in the
base SocialEngine product. Per site owner requirement and user feedback
advance the baseline social networking features such as blogs, photo
albums, user groups and forums, providing complete control over the
layout and functionality of social network, community, or portal.
The network has over 46,000 members communicate everyday generating
27,000+ comments and 50,000+ messages on a monthly basis.
With the famous and common social features this implementation includes Geo Tagging, live "instant messaging" between users, the Open Social and live feeds to enhance the member experience. There are more than 52 most used plug-ins from which six were developed by our team.
Also our DBA and Unix administrators are helping solve issues with the database and web server. The technical team which spans across the globe uses one dedicated Linux development server that hosts 15 developer sites with individual databases which helps each developer to branch out on a special mission. The production environment includes two separate Linux dedicated servers for website and MySQL database.
University Visitors Network – University Visitors Guide Lifestyle Search using Google Custom Search Engine to establish a federated search experience.
University visitors network was developped to be an excellent resource of valuable college and university information to help prospective students (and parents) narrow their college selections and facilitate college visits to the universities of their choice. The portal includes 1600 4-Year Colleage and University information makes it easy for college research and selection.
The portal www.universityvisitorsnetwork.com includes asocial networking feature that helps the colleage-bound students to setup, select, share and compare the colleage lists. Addiction Atlas – Helps to find meetings in a given area

The website is based on an idea to help to recover from addiction by listing the group meetings in different locations within USA and Canada. The goal was to make the site dynamic which can accept upcoming meeting details and on approval publish the meeting online. The new site was developed using Web Services and AJAX technologies with Microsoft SQL Server as the database. The complete site can be configured thru the backend administration control panel. Also the control panel allows to create new locations (such as country, state, city) and to manage meeting details.

UiKnow – Find, Organize, Create and Share

UiKnow was a research project of University of Illinois. This application helps to find information on the internet and share thoughts and opinions with the world. The system allows searching the web, save the search, categorizing the search, and sharing the saved search with the world. The project had a client piece which was developed using Microsoft dot NET technology and the server end was developed using JAVA STRUTS technology. The client and server were interfaced using secure Web Services over HTTP protocol. The client had artificial intelligence to link the search results and it could upload the search file to the server under a given category. Once the search is uploaded and approved the internet users can use the saved search and also can rate and send remarks on the search. There was an admin control panel to manage registered users, manage categories, and to facilitate the approval process for the search and remarks. We worked on this project partnering with Psycray.
