Addiction Atlas – Helps to find meetings in a given area

The website is based on an idea to help to recover from addiction by listing the group meetings in different locations within USA and Canada. The goal was to make the site dynamic which can accept upcoming meeting details and on approval publish the meeting online. The new site was developed using Web Services and AJAX technologies with Microsoft SQL Server as the database. The complete site can be configured thru the backend administration control panel. Also the control panel allows to create new locations (such as country, state, city) and to manage meeting details.

Our team has helped to enhance the website for job search and connecting the site with employer applications to accept mass job requirement uploads and also helped in fixing few bugs left behind by the previous web site development entity.

UiKnow – Find, Organize, Create and Share

UiKnow was a research project of University of Illinois. This application helps to find information on the internet and share thoughts and opinions with the world. The system allows searching the web, save the search, categorizing the search, and sharing the saved search with the world. The project had a client piece which was developed using Microsoft dot NET technology and the server end was developed using JAVA STRUTS technology. The client and server were interfaced using secure Web Services over HTTP protocol. The client had artificial intelligence to link the search results and it could upload the search file to the server under a given category. Once the search is uploaded and approved the internet users can use the saved search and also can rate and send remarks on the search. There was an admin control panel to manage registered users, manage categories, and to facilitate the approval process for the search and remarks. We worked on this project partnering with Psycray.
